Samsung to Release a Smaller Consumer Version of “The Wall”

Samsung made a big splash at the 2018 CES convention when they introduced the Micro LED TV called “The Wall”.  This particular product captivated audiences but was to be sold and distributed to industrial partners only. Now they are announcing that they will be launching a smaller and commercial 75″ version this year. 

The picture quality of the MicroLED television will beat the OLED as this television features millions of red, green and blue microscopic LED chips.  This specific TV is also suppose to have a longer sustainability.  The concept of this type of TV utilizes individual tiles that are easily installed to the wall creating an unbelievable viewing experience.

Samsung has not officially announced any of the specific details about the release or more importantly the price, but some speculate that a TV of this magnitude could cost the consumer in the 10’s of thousands.  This is because the creation of such a TV is extremely expensive as the slightest mistake would make the entire display nonfunctional.  This is not worrisome for Samsung as they are currently the only manufacturer that has this type of technology created as of yet.  Other companies are rumored to be working on projects such as this, but they are still in the research and development stage thus giving Samsung a huge advantage.

Samsung continuously strives to gain market share in all aspects of the technology world and this latest innovative television is being touted by executives as a television that will transform your life.    This may be hard for consumers to imagine as they have yet to see the prototype themselves but from the reaction to “The Wall” at last year’s CES convention, when released the 75-inch MicroLED TV is sure to be another win for Samsung.
