The Samsung Galaxy S10 is one of the most highly sought-after smartphones launches coming up this year. As is usually the case, it should be unveiled at media events in San Francisco and London in February but will hit the markets for consumer purchases in March.
The Galaxy S10 will share the stage at the unveiling as Samsung is also showing the Galaxy X, which is their first foldable phone, and the Galaxy Watch Sport. Although the Galaxy S10 may not be as flashy as the other two devices being launched, it is the first 5G phone being released to the market. This is a big win for Samsung and should not be taken lightly.
Apparently, there are going to be different versions of the Galaxy S10 and not all will contain 5G tech. Thankfully, that probably means substantially cheaper S10s. The base model S10 is expected to cost around $700 and the prices will go up from there. For example, the 5G version is expected to come in at a whopping $1600 !! True, this may seem expensive for a smartphone, but this is the first of its kind with 5G technology and 5G has been much anticipated by consumers.
EXPECTED LAUNCH DATES
For those that are highly anticipating the launch of these phones you can expect the Galaxy S10 Lite, Galaxy S10, and Galaxy S10 Plus to all be on sale March 8th, 2019. Right on their heels, Samsung will begin selling the Galaxy S10X 5G Version on March 29th. A little further sown the line, those will be followed by the Samsung Galaxy X, the foldable phone, on April 29th.
As with all technology launches you can never know what the future holds until that future is the present. However, one thing is for sure, and that is that 2019 is going to be a big year for Samsung Mobile.
