Alienware laptops in 2019 are now thinner and more powerful

The Gaming Laptop Evolution

Alienware gaming laptops are really starting to check all boxes. Gaming computers have transformed exponentially over the past 10 years.  When first created it was inconceivable that a laptop could hold enough hardware and software required to run such sophisticated games with superior graphics.  Dell’s Alienware line has changed this theory and has been successful in the past in launching laptops with the same functionality as gaming desktops.

The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2019 which is taking place now, had Dell announce it will be releasing its newest Alienware laptops, the thinner and powerful M17 as well as a newly updated version of the M15 variant with up to Nvidia RTX 2080 graphics.

Thinner and Stronger

The Alienware m17 is being called the thinnest and lightest 17″ gaming laptop ever created.  This computer contains Intel’s eighth generation Core i9 8950 HK processor and NVIDIA Geforce RTX 2080 Max-Q graphics.  It features the Alienware customized lighting and CryoTech technology that keeps the system cool, so the game playing experience remains at a high-performance level.

Alienware m15 has been redesigned but now comes with 17 hours of battery life, and weighs under 5 pounds.  It promises to be more powerful than the previous m13 and m15 and contains a graphics amplifier.

As with all major purchases in regard to technology and gaming systems, it is imperative to do massive research as the price tag for these types of machines range from $1500 to $5000.  Make sure that a laptop has the capability and graphics card necessary to run higher resolution games and that the speed of the processor can accommodate the same type of games.

Because of the cost associated and the longevity of the gaming system itself, it is imperative that you will be able to fulfill all your gaming desires with whatever system you purchase, and for a period that is longer than the average life cycle of an average machine.
